September 2007, Pastor Bettye M. Wolinski was ordained into the ministry of Word and Sacrament at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in the Roselawn area of Baltimore. For the past five yearsWolinski has been serving at Community Lutheran Church at the intersection of Armory and Omar Roads in Frankford. Sunday,September 30, 2012, Community Lutheran will celebrate the fifth anniversary of Wolinski's ordination in a special worship service,giving thanks to God for her and the gift she has been to her congregation. The service that day will be at 10:30 am at Community Lutheran and the Reverend Ed Kay, Assistant to the Bishop of the Delaware - Maryland Synod will preach; Wolinski will preside at the Eucharist. Special music will enhance the day under the direction of Community's Music Director, Tom Richardson. As always the public is invited to share in this day of celebration and worship. The celebratory worship will be followed by a potluck meal in Community’s fellowship hall.
